S.O.N.A.

This is my first time to write a political statement here in my blog and I think our situation is very crucial. Our president, Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will speak around 3 in the afternoon about the situation in our country or State of the Nation Address (SONA). This is the most controversial SONA the she will be doing. I ask all the Filipinos or even other nationalities to pray for our country. We only ask for about a minute or two of your time to just stop a while and pray.

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14

Let us humble ourselves to the Lord and ask for forgiveness. For we know that prayer is the best and powerful way we can do. Thank you for reading this entry and I hope that we will all pray for the good of our country. God bless!

Midterm Week

I don’t like midterm week! It’s ok for me to take exams but some of our professors give projects. They don’t give exams but they do give DIFFICULT projects. I can feel the pressure. There will be long nights starting tonight. Must review and finish all the projects. I’m starting to encounter problem in our projects.

We have a tutorial report and we’re supposed to use Microsoft Word but I think we have a bigger problem. Our school doesn’t use Microsoft. Instead they us Open Office and I’m not that familiar to that software. I hope my partner and I can finish it as soon as possible! I know we can! With the help of God! Bring it on!

These people asked me if I could post more pictures with regards to the “General Assembly”. Of course I said yes!

A.P.C.-Y.O.F. General Assembly

Welcome freshmen and the other new members of A.P.C.-Youth on Fire!!! It’s been a great night last night in our school. We welcomed the freshmen and the higher batch that joined our org. For the benefit to those who don’t know Youth on Fire or Y.O.F., let me give you a bit background. This is actually another branch in a church, the Youth. It’s a branch that brought out and introduced to the environment like schools. Basically, it’s under the Victory church.

Anyways, going back to our topic, as one of the cell-leaders, I met a lot of schoolmates. We didn’t expect that we would have as many students as we have last night. The program was about the background of the org., which I mentioned already, and more on getting to know each other. After the program we prepared a sort of ‘dinner’ to them. I know that as one of the leaders, we have great responsibilities to these new souls. I know that God will help us cater these souls and I hope they too will be willing.
