My Apology

After I prayed last night, when my head touched the pillow, at no reasons at all a question flashed in my mind. ‘Is it 2005 or 2006?’ What the?! It’s not what you’re thinking. I’m talking about the labels I put in all the pictures I uploaded in my blog. ‘Ahhh…’ The readers might think that all the pictures here in my blog, which unfortunately have ‘2005’ labels, which was suppose to be in ‘2006’ ‘cause we’re on year 2006!, were taken in the year 2005. You got it wrong. My apology! All the pictures starting from January 1 of this year were taken on the same year. Ahh… God bless!

I Miss Photography

As I was transferring photos from my pda to my pc, for no reason at all, I miss taking beautiful photos. Despite the heavy schedule from school at some point whenever I see some good scenery, I took pictures of them, whether though my pda or phone. If I use my pda or phone in capturing photos, the quality it is not that good but hey I can’t always bring my digital cam. I just want to share some of the beautiful photos I’ve taken through my pda and phone. Hope you’ll it.

American Idol Season 5 & APC Idol

Finally, the long wait is over. American Idol Season 5 has started its audition last January 18. As always, many auditioned but only few of them had the chance to go to Hollywood. Their next stop for audition is Las Vegas so watch out for that. You can catch them Wednesdays and Thursdays every 6 in the evening and has a replay at 8:00 p.m.

In line with the American Idol ‘thing’, on the last week of February will be our college week. For the whole week different organizations will have their own event and guess what?! One of the biggest events was assigned to our org, which is Rotary, and that event is our version of American Idol. It’s APC Idol! Like what American Idol did, we started our audition last Thursday. If you ask me I would definitely join this contest but unfortunately I’m part of the committee. L Anyways, I can’t tell the whole procedure of the contest ‘cause we put some twists on it so better watch for it. God bless!

Proud to be Pinoy!

“Bring back the glory, Manny!” That’s what I heard watching Manny’s fight this noon. Almost all the people all over the world were excited who will win this re-match. 10th round was the final blow that Manny gave to Morales. Watching Manny tasting his sweet victory, I felt the true spirit of being Pinoy. It may sound “baduy” but I think even for a short time let us be “baduy”. Be proud of being Pinoy and be proud of our country! Go Manny! Go Philippines!

North Meets South

Last night was an awesome night. We were the first organization in our school, Rotary of Makati – Asia Pacific College, who had an activity for this term. That activity that I’m talking about was there were 25 youth delegates from Korea who will have spend their vacation here in Philippines. We prepared a small dinner for them and had some fun games. I got the chance to meet new friends especially Koreans! Isn’t it great?! They also taught some Korean words but it’s hard to memorize and pronounce them so don’t ask me. So we had fun with their company and I think they also had fun sharing their time with us. They will be going back to Korea on the 23rd of January. I dunno if I can see all of them again but I’m looking forward to see them again.

Dinner Time! :)

Back To School

It’s now our 3rd day in school so that means last Monday was our first day for our 3rd term. Yeah, we were all excited to see each other. Some became chubby, some became more beautiful, and some were same as before. Anyways, this is the 3rd term of our sophomore year and according from the higher batch, who are in the same course as mine, this is where you will see how competent you are in the field you chose. We met the ‘terror professor’ the higher batch was talking about. He may look ‘terror’ for some but when he introduced himself, we had the chance to know him a bit. I’m not scared at all as to what the higher batch had told me. Honestly, I’m kinda excited and challenge for this particular subject. By the way the subject I’m talking about is about Introduction to Analysis and Design. This subject will manifest for the whole year so better to choose good group mates (lol!)

Anyways, I’m back to school again and at some points I’m kinda confident that I will pass all the subjects. Again, I will hear those church bells telling us that it’s already noontime. I will see again all those very nice guards in our school. New beginning, new start, so better to begin this term with guidance of Him.

Too early for the first subject

Would You Like To Listen?

Would you like to listen to my version of the song “The Other Side Of The Radio” by Chris Rice? Whenever I’m doing something in front of my computer there should always be background music. I dunno why but I think I can concentrate better whenever there’s music. So as I was saying, aside from doing something in front of my computer I was also singing along with the music and all of a sudden a bright bulb appeared above my head. Why won’t I record my own version of any songs I like? So it happened! I chose song “The Other Side Of The Radio” by Chris Rice simply because you can easily get along with this song and also I adorably like the lyrics. So ladies and gentlemen, here’s my version of “The Other Side Of The Radio”.

Just click this link and download the song...

OTHER SIDE OF THE RADIO

Here I am on the other side of the radio

Wonderin' why I'm here and why anybody cares what I say

No I’m not a better man cause I'm singing my songs on the radio

Cause were all the same, at the end of the day

Now I imagine you on the other side of the radio

Doin' your homework or driving with your windows down on the freeway

I see you tappin' the wheel I see you bobbin' your head to the radio

Oh and it makes my day, to see that smile on your face

And in some small way, I remember my place

Cause it's you and me singing the same song right now

And maybe this will bring us together somehow

And maybe there's a million people all singing a long

Somebody started thinkin' about the third line

And maybe someone's saying a prayer for the first time

And that's enough reason to keep me singing my song,

Singing my songs, on the other side of the radio

Crank up the volume sing at the top of your lungs with the radio

Tune it in to some good news and laughing along with the DJ

We're changing somebody's world from the other side of the radio

Oh and it makes my day to see that smile on your face

And in some small way, I remember my place

Cause it's you and me singing the same song right now

And maybe this will bring us together somehow

And maybe there's a million people all singing a long

Somebody started thinkin' about the third line

And maybe someone's saying a prayer for the first time

And that's enough reason to keep me singing my song

Singing my song, on the other side of the radio (2X)

Dah Dah dah dah dah dah dah dah

Other Side of the Radio (3X)

Blessed New Year Everyone!

A Blessed New Year everyone! Welcome 2006! Have you had fun welcoming year 2006? Well if you ask me I’m so blessed of what happened in welcoming 2006. We went to my great-grandma’s house to celebrate New Year. We were so happy because we were almost complete. My cousins came from London just to celebrate New Year with us. We ate together and the most special moment we did was we offer a thanksgiving prayer. My uncle from London prayed over us via phone patch. We welcome year 2006 with so much joy in our hearts. Let us thank Him for all He gave to us this past 2005. God bless everyone!
